It  has been some time since I have had news of the private sector proposal to build a demonstrator light rail line in Preston, Lancashire, England — a project that was the subject of numerous posts last fall.

Today’s Lancashire Evening Post includes the artist’s rendering at left, depicting a proposed tram stop to be built on Deepdale Street for the demonstrator line on which trams will be tested. Read the full article, “Back to the future for city’s tram network.”
