Metrolink still not running to MediaCity after crash: Manchester Evening News

Rush-hour commuters faced major delays after the accident on the Eccles line on Tuesday last week. Manchester Evening News via Share This function.

This Web headline from Thursday’s edition says it all: Metrolink still not running to MediaCity after crash – Manchester Evening News.

Just because I am a day late, I decided to check the Metrolink Website. As of now (12:27 a.m. Eastern U.S./5:27 a.m. Manchester) the site still carries a service information bulletin dubbed “No Media CityUK Service” in the wake of last week’s incident, as I described here. According to MEN, “Bosses at the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive say an ‘operational review’ is being carried out before services can continue.”
